Elizabeth Perryman Bryant, 75, of Dothan, died June 24, 2015 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 in Memory Hill Cemetery with Todd Bryant officiating and Sunset Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312.

Mrs. Bryant was born August 1, 1939 in Eufaula, AL and moved to Jasper, AL at an early age. She was a graduate of API (Auburn University) where she received her B.S. Degree. She then attended the University of Alabama and received her Masters in Education and Home Economics. She taught for 27 years and at the time of her retirement in 1996 she was teaching at Dale County High School. Mrs. Bryant enjoyed reading and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Colonial Dames.

Survivors include her husband Terry Bryant; her son Todd Bryant; her daughter Amy Bryant (Jerry) Richerson; grandchildren, Jerry Thomas Richerson, Ashley Richerson, Tobi Bryant, Tucker Bryant, and Teagan Bryant; several nieces and nephews; her dear companion, 19 year old poodle "Elizabeth."
