HEADLAND. . .Elizabeth Stephens “Liz” Parmentier, a former resident of Headland, passed away Wednesday night, October 16, 2024, in the Early Medical Center in Blakely.


            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. (C.S.T.) Monday, October 21, 2024, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Reverend George Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.


            Elizabeth Parmentier was born in Dothan and was reared in Headland. She formerly lived in Headland, Dothan and Davenport, Iowa. Elizabeth was retired from Rock Island Arsenal, Department of the Army, in Rock Island, Illinois as an Information Management Specialist. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hannon Stephens and her mother, Judy Hodges Armstrong.


            Surviving relatives her daughters, Candace Brackin Bland (Tim Harrell), Bluffton, GA; and Ava Brackin Spinello, Davenport, Iowa; a son, Stephen Brackin, Headland, AL; three sisters, Donna Stephenson (Bill), Dothan; Suzanne McClendon (John), Headland; and Shannon Ciaravella, Sarasota, FL; a brother, Geoffrey Stephens, Dothan; eight grandchildren, Brooklynn Bland, Emma Harrell, Alston Harrell, Skylar Harrell, Channing Brackin, Alec Spinello, Jacob Spinello and Addison Werts, and a great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
