Ellis Wayne "Buddy" Sutton, 86, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Panama City, Florida. Born on March 4, 1938, in Clio, Alabama, he was known for his passion for the outdoors and his exceptional cooking skills, especially his renowned Brunswick Stew.


Buddy's life was defined by his love for hunting, fishing, golfing, and, above all, spending cherished moments with his family and friends. His warm, welcoming nature and Full of Life Personality Left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him.


He is survived by his daughter, Alisa Spivey, and her husband, Phil; his son, Greg Sutton, and his wife, Deb; his sister-in-law, Brenda Sutton; his grandchildren, Keaton Spivey, Jessica, and her husband, Bryce; and his great-grandchildren, Breck, Palmer, and Collins Miller. Buddy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and his special friends, Larry and Michelle Waldron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Ellis Sutton, and his brothers, Jimmy Sutton and John Daryl Sutton.


His service will be held on July 14, 2024, at 1 PM at Keahey Funeral Home, located at 1411 Blue Springs St, Clio, AL 36017. The Keahey Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Buddy's legacy of love, friendship, and community will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
