Elma Selene “G” Walden, of Enterprise, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at her residence, with family by her side.  She was 90.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Cool Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Jankoski and Rev. John Boss officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the church Monday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Ann Burch, 3004 CR 708, Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

Elma was born August 28, 1927, in Coffee County, and lived in Cool Springs for over 70 years.  She was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church for 68 years.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Walden; her father, Oscar Godwin; her mother, Willie Ethridge Godwin; eight brothers; and one sister.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Martin (Ted) of Cool Springs; granddaughter, Jennifer Moseley (Philip); and two great-grandchildren: Patric Moseley and Jack Moseley.
