Ms. Eloise Fern (Murphy) Woodham, 86, a resident of Ozark, passed away at her home surrounded by her family after a short illness.

 

Ms. Eloise was born in Griffin, North Carolina on February 13, 1938, to the late Joseph Michael and Lucy May Murphy. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1956 and moved to Slocomb. Later in 2006, she moved to Ozark. Ms. Eloise worked as a sterilization tech at Flowers Hospital for fifteen years. She was of the Baptist faith.

 

Ms. Eloise is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Howard Murphy; and daughter, Debbie Farnsworth.

 

Ms. Eloise is survived by her three sons, John H. White, Jr. (Bonnie), Mike White (Becky), both of Columbia and Henry A. White of Dothan; brother, Johnny Murphy (Carol) of Alexandria, Virginia; sisters, Mary Richardson of Chesapeake, Virginia and Carolyn Hagen of Hyattsville, Maryland; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
