Emma Jean McClellan Zorn Parrish, age 86, formally of Hartford, AL passed away peacefully on April 20, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Honorary pall bears will be the Geneva County High School Class of 1950.

She was born September 13, 1930 to Arthur E and Maddie Green Riley McClellan in Geneva County, AL. She graduated from Geneva County High School in 1950. She retired from Civil Service, Civilian Pay from Fort Rucker, AL. As teenagers she and her sisters enjoyed sneaking out and doing the jitterbug. She loved spending time at the beach, traveling with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Jean was known for her Pecan Pies, 14 layer Chocolate Cakes, Lemon Cheese Cakes; at family gatherings everyone had their own special requests for various goodies.
She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Benjamin Harold Zorn; second husband, James W. Parrish; three brothers, Arthur McClellan, Jr., Lex P. McClellan, and James McClellan; three brothers-in-law, Herbert Myers, John Troy and Malcolm Smith; two sisters-in-law, Edna McClellan and Verna Zorn Smith.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Dianne Price (Don) of Montgomery, Glenda Jean Weston (Rick) of Hartford and Beverly Louise Harlin (Bobby) of Enterprise; grandchildren, Don R. Price, Westley A Price and Nickolas R. Price, all of Austin, TX., Eric D. Weston (Holly) of Wilmore, KY., Elliot Weston (Fiance Shelby Tindell) of Hartford, Kayla L. Sanders of Enterprise; one great-grandson, Izaias Daniel Weston of Wilmore, KY.; two sisters, Betty Sue Myers of Greenville, SC. And Mary Catherine Troy of Greer, SC.; one sister-in-law, LaVerne (Boo) McClellan of Columbus, GA.; several beloved nieces and nephews.
