Epigmenio Tinajero “Hovie” Hernandez of Elba (Ino Community) passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. He was 40 years old.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Mexico.

Hovie was born on May 5, 1978. Hovie was self-employed as a landscape designer. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by one brother.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melanie Cawthon Tinajero of Ino Community; father and mother, Macedonio Tinajero and Juana Hernandez Martinez of Ciudad Valles – San Luis Potosi; five children, Brooke Sims of Ino Community, Ashley Sims of Enterprise, Alejandro, Juana, and Jose Tinajero all of Ino Community; one grandson Zachary McAdams of Ino Community; father-in-law, Henon Cawthon of Ino Community; two sisters, Martiniana Tinajero Hernandez, and Maria Elena Tinajero Hernandez; three brothers, Pedro Tinajero Hernandez, Andres Tinajero Hernandez, all of Ciudad Valles – San Luis Potosi, and Luis Tinajero Hernandez (Holly) of Samson, AL.
