Eric Jerome Exum, 53, of Dothan passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be 11 am Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Duren officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Eric was born June 22, 1960 in Columbus, GA and lived the early part of his life on Dothan. He was a 1979 graduate of Dale County High School. Eric loved spending time with his grandchildren and cooking for his family and friends. He was an avid Alabama Football Fan.

Survivors include his wife Abby Exum; daughters, Ashley Brown (Blake) and Erica Creel (Michael); grandchildren, Hayden McCollough, Alex McCollough, Andrew McCollough, Madison Brown, and Avery Brown; brothers, Tom Exum (Mary), David Exum, Joe Exum, Mike Exum (Kay), and Ray Exum (Eva); a sister Peggy Exum (Joyce Sabinski); several nieces and nephews also survive.
