Erica Denise Cook, 51, a resident of Blakely, GA passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Erica was born August 26, 1963 in Bridgeton, New Jersey and lived the early part of her life in Montclair, NJ. She moved to Blakely, GA in 1998 and was attending Valdosta State University at the time of her illness. She was a member of Mt. Olive Christian Fellowship in Dothan. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Jones, her father Charles Pierce, her twin brother Eric Dale, and her sister Joyce Dale.

Survivors include her husband Vincent Cook; sons, Matthew Cook and Patrick Cook; her brothers, David (Janet) Jones and Rossie Wright; her sisters, Diedre (Terry) Newsome, Jewel (Donald) Evans, and Deanna (Tavaris) Hardmon; her father, Robert L. Jones; 3 lifelong friends, Kathleen Smallwood Johnson, June Jeffries, and Jill Barbar; a host of aunts, uncles, friends, nieces and nephews.
