Over the past few years, despite numerous health problems, he delighted in devoting himself to his grandchildren who were the light of his life.
Eddie worked for Gulf Coast Fertilizer, the business his father founded, for many years and worked in the drywall and construction trade for the last part of his working career.
Some of the highlights of his last months were, taking his grandchildren to the beach, and going on camping trips with them as well as going to the Bahamas with friends and being baptized for a second time.
Eddie was one of a kind, everyone that knew him loved him. He was a kind gentle soul that will be missed dearly.
