Ernest Larry Simmons of Chancellor, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 10 , 2022. He was 69 years old. The family will have a private service for Mr. Simmons at a later date.

Larry was born in Killeen, TX on November 21, 1952 to the late Ernest Olen “Doug” and Evelyn Lynell Murdock Simmons. Larry was a proud graduate of the Geneva High School class of 1971.   Larry was a lifelong resident of Geneva who’s morning routine consisted of ridding to the river junction and around town. He also enjoyed ridding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Simmons.

Larry is survived by one daughter, Angie Sconyers (Toby) of Chancellor, AL; two grandchildren, Perry Yelverton and Georgia Raine Sconyers both of Chancellor, AL.
