Evelyn Marie Mason

Evelyn Marie Mason, a resident of Ozark, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020. She was 79 years old.

Evelyn was born on October 17, 1941 to the late William and Eva Mathis in Florida. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Evelyn loved spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening. She had a strong Faith and knew she was going to a better place where she will be rejoined with the loved ones she lost.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Mason, her son, Steve Stockman, her daughter, Laurie Richards, her grandson, Michael Richards, and her sister, Leola Mathis.

Survivors include her children, James G. Cook, Clenten Cook, and Theresa (Stephen) Wackowski; her 9 grandchildren, Jennifer M. Stockman, Crystal R. Hill, Kimberly M. Montgomery, Samantha C. Snowman, Amanda Richards, Matthew Cook, Nicholas Cook, and Lauren Cook; her 3 great-grandchildren, Virginia Bass, Mason Hill, and Hunter Cook; her brother, David Mathis; her 2 sisters, Carolyn Parrish and Cleo Pureaka; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She will be greatly missed.
