Evelyn Violet Moore-Schoof, a resident of Dothan died Saturday November 3, 2018 in Graceville, Florida. She was 93 years old.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Gatlin and Rev. David Reed officiating.

Mrs. Schoof was born February 13, 1925 in Cambridge, Mass and lived in Arlington, Mass the early part of her life, graduating from high school there. She was a member of the US Army Nursing Corps and served during World War II and has lived in Dothan for the past 25 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Covenant United Methodist Church, and regularly attended Columbia Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Schoof; son, Ken (Pat) Moore; grandchildren, Matthew Moore and Megan Gershon; great-grandson, Lincoln Gershon.
