Hilda Faye Johnson Todd, 67, a resident of Dothan passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Westside Terrace.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Todd was born March 2, 1947 in Hartford, AL and lived the early part of her life there. She married Larry Todd in 1963 and moved to Dothan. She was employed with Dothan City School for over 17 years as a special needs school bus aide. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church for 27 years. Faye loved to fish, work on arts and crafts, singing and going to church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Daniel and Willie Mae Johnson; her husband Larry Todd; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Bruce Todd and Joshua (Barbara) Todd; her daughters, Christine (Tony) Reeder and Denise (Kenny) Chance; grandchildren, Kalen (Sarah) Jinks, Somer (Jordan) Holland, Morgan Todd, Cody Todd, Joshua Todd Jr., Belinda (James) Buck, Bianca (Jordan) Smith, and Melissa Chance; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Jinks and Destin Smith; brothers, Larry (Lori) Johnson, Gerald (Angie) Johnson, Billy Ray (Patricia) Johnson, and Lamar (Pat) Cawley; sisters, Gail (Leo) Reeves, Sue (Martin) Ellenburg, and Shirley Monnette; numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Reeves, Jeffrey Reeves, Christopher Johnson, Robert Johnson, Brian Metcalf, Eric Metcalf, Mike Johnson, and Royce McKee.
