Box 310447, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Felicia was a graduate of Troy University and taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade for 25 years and touched many lives.

Felicia lived in Enterprise from 1955 through 2019, then moving to Dothan to The Terrace at Grove Park.

Known for her generous and loving spirit, Felicia loved her home and entertaining.  She had beautiful roses and hydrangea which she shared with many as well as her delicious sour dough bread.  She was a great Southern cook and loved to invite friends to share and enjoy.

Felicia enjoyed being a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church where she volunteered as the organist and pianist for many years.  After retirement, she taught piano lessons in her home for several years.

Felicia enjoyed being a member of the 20th Century Chautauqua Club, Enterprise Music Club, Azalea Garden Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, her beloved Birthday Girls and enjoyed playing Bridge.

An avid University of Alabama fan, she enjoyed cheering for the Crimson Tide, especially with Gloria and Jackie.

Felicia is survived by her children, Jennifer Metcalf  de Shazo of Panama City Beach, Florida and Stephen Ray Metcalf (Anita) of Enterprise; grandchildren, Elizabeth de Shazo Brown (Mike) of Charlotte, North Carolina, William Floyd    de Shazo V (Hayley) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Millicent Metcalf Fain (Blake) of Geneva, Alabama; great grandchildren, Lillian Walker Brown, William Lee Brown, Caroline Beatrice Brown, William Ryles Fain and Elliott Katherine Fain; her brother Dr. John Morrow (Joyce) of Nashville, Tennessee and a sister in law, Sara Metcalf Mixson (Dr. Andrew) of Birmingham, Alabama; several beloved nieces and nephews.  In addition, she is survived by her precious Lula, who was her constant companion.  She so loved her other furry companions, especially Pachelbel and Gus.  She grew to love Bama Girl as she spent lots of time at her Fefe’s cottage.

Felicia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Stephen Ray Metcalf.

To know Felicia was to love her.  She had the gentle presence of a true Southern lady and a distinct talent for making all of those around her feel special.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by many.
