Flora Bell Cochran Risner of Dothan died Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 91.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Tommy Martin and Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2012. Flowers will be accepted. At other times, the family will be gathered at 60 Sketo Rd, Kinsey, AL.
Mrs. Risner was a member of Faith Tabernacle. She was a loving mother, grandmother and loved her family. She loved working in her yard, loved her church, and loved to cook for her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Elmer Risner, Huie Robert Cochran, her son, H.R. Cochran, Jr., and a grandson-in-law, Philip Wadsworth.
Survivors include daughters, Betty Ann Holland and her husband, Winsell of Ashford; Barbara Williams and her husband, Jimmy of Malvern; sister, Katherine Green and her husband, Reverend Don Green of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Keith and JoAnn Cochran, Lisa and Don Cannon, Theresa McCoy, Billy and Romona Dean, Robbie and Marv Elliott, Donna and Jerry Hughes, Randy and Carol Windham, April Dean, several great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other family members, and her caregiver, Norma Dunlap, very special friend and neighbor, Albert Lewis.
Pallbearers will be James Webb, Larry R. Cotton, III, Dalton Chavis, Philip D. Wadsworth, Jr., Keith Parris, and Robert Webb.
