Florence “Lyndal” English, age 83, of Geneva, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born on February 18, 1935 in Holmes County, Florida, the daughter of Robert E. and Lucy A. Howell Roach. For more than 10 years, she was employed with Reliable Metal and attended church at Emmanuel Assembly of God in Geneva. Lyndal truly enjoyed being a member of the Senior Citizens Center, participating in a good game of Bingo while socializing with everyone in attendance. Floral arranging, coloring, gardening, but most of all fishing, were her favorite hobbies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one infant, two sisters, two brothers, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, two nieces and one nephew.
Lyndal is survived by the father of her children, James Milton (Rose); son, Derek Milton (Marcy) of Geneva, Alabama; daughter, Jeannie Kaul (Chris) of Montgomery, Alabama; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins; many special friends; and her faithful canine fur baby, Sandie.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 in the chapel of Magnolia Funeral Home, 507 West Main Street, Hartford, Alabama 36344. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Committal services will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Geneva. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Kindred Hospice of Enterprise, Alabama.
