FRANCES AMMONS HARRELL
DONALSONVILLE, GA… Frances Ammons Harrell, a resident of Donalsonville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at her home. She was 89.
Graveside services will be 11:30 A.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Brother Joey Hudspeth officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.
Mrs. Harrell was born August 15, 1933 to the late Daniel Odus Ammons and Alma McLain Ammons in Midland City, Alabama. She attended and graduated Newville High School. She was employed as a traffic and shipping clerk at Westpoint Stevens. She lived most of her life in the Concord Community of Henry County. She was a member of the Wiregrass Ex- P.O.W. Club and D.A.V. Chapter-87of Dothan: Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is also proceeded in death by her husband, James Ralph Harrell; her brother Dewey Ammons; and her son-in-law, Ed Gale.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Dora Jane Gale of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Christina Gale, Heather Gale, Blake Gale, and Shelby Gale; her great-grandchildren, Devin Gale and Alex Gale; her niece, Kathy Fullerton (David); and her great-niece, Andrea Fullerton.
Serving as pallbearers are David Fullerton, Devin Gale, Alex Gale, Randy Meredith, Hunter Singleton, and Sheryl Singleton.
