Frances Ann Gibbs

Frances Ann Gibbs, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 10, 2020 at her residence. She was 63 years old.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B. K. Marshall officiating.

Frances was born on February 26, 1956 in Dothan, Alabama to the late William and Sulie Helms Turner and has lived here her entire life. She worked with Southeast Apparel and Andrew’s Bridal Shop as a seamstress for several years. Frances owned and operated Frances Gibbs Designs until her recent illness. She was the sweetest, kindest person you could ever meet. Frances had a heart of gold and everyone who met her, loved her instantly. She was a dedicated member of 1st Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Fenny Gibbs; her children, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Yeboah, Fakeisha (Abdul) Smith, and Harold Jones, II; her 4 grandchildren, Shakellia Carroll, Thaddius Bowick, Essynce Yeboah, and Kaydence Russaw; and a host of nieces and nephews.
