FRANCES BRACKIN HAGLER




KINSEY…Frances Brackin Hagler, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on October 10, 2012. She was 83.


            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 12, 2012, in the Kinsey Baptist Church with Pastor James A. Rich and Reverend Brad Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Headland.


            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36302.


            Mrs. Hagler was born and reared in Houston County, daughter of the late Clayton Brackin and Mandy Jane Clark Brackin. She lived in Dothan before moving to Kinsey in 1992. Mrs. Hagler was a member of the Kinsey Baptist Church where she formerly taught Sunday School. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family in their camper often with children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.


            Mrs. Hagler was preceded in death by her sisters, Quilla Tew, Willie Mae Buckhalt, Bertie Lee Loguidice, Annette Love, Mobie Boswell, Faylean Boswell and brothers, Leon Brackin and Tump Brackin.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, David A. Hagler, Kinsey; a daughter, Mickey Hagler Myatt (Gene), Pensacola; a son, Don Wade Hagler, Kinsey; a sister, Bobbie Godwin (Thomas), Rehobeth; six grandchildren, Amanda Merideth (Robert), Ashley W. Walden (Kaylan), Heather Hasenfuss (Blake), Josh Hagler, Josie LaPointe (Dyllan), and Cierra Hagler; five great-grandchildren, Rhiannon Merideth, Savannah Merideth, Jonathon Merideth, Braxton Walden, Kellan Hasenfuss and a great-grandson, Colton Walden, expected in December.
