Mrs. Frances Louise (Tew) Phillips Johnson, age 83, of Fortson, GA (formerly of Clio), passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, in Columbus, GA. She attended River of Life Church of God in Hamilton, GA.
She is survived by her children: Shelia (Wayne) Barefield of Columbus, GA, and Alan Phillips of Columbus, GA, Melissa (Ronnie) Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN, Terri (Randy) Mann of Goshen, AL, and Jerry Johnson, Jr. of Soddy Daisy, TN; her grandchildren: Don (Stacey) Barefield of Columbus, GA, Tonya (Justin) Smith of Columbus, GA, Desirea Bump and Phillip Bump both of TN , Joshua Mann and Jonathan Mann, both of Troy, AL, Joseph Mann of Elamville, AL, Austin Johnson of Clio, AL; Christian Johnson and Liberty Johnson both of Flat Rock, AL; and her great-grandchildren: Grace Barefield, Trinity Smith, Braedon Smith, Serenity Bump, Layla Bump, Marie Mann, and Travis David Mann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Johnson, her daughter, Frances Elizabeth Phillips, and her son, David Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. (Central Time) Friday, May 4, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Clio with Rev. Dan Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Clio, AL. Serving as pallbearers are: Don Barefield, Justin Smith, Ronald Smith, Kerwin Gulledge, Shane Teal, and Jonathan Smith. Keahey Funeral Home of Clio is directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (Central Time) Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Contributions to help with the funeral expenses may be sent to the River of Life Church of God, 8060 US Highway 27 East, Hamilton, GA 31811.
