Frank Allen Britt Jr. of Chancellor, Alabama passed away, Saturday, May 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was 72. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hudson officiating.  Private family burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, at T2T.org. 

Al was an avid farmer his entire life.  He loved Britt Farms with everything in him.  He always said he wanted to leave the farm in better condition than when he took over and he has done just that. He also served as a Coffee County Commissioner for the last 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Conner Britt and his father Frank Allen Britt, Sr.   

Survivors include his mother, Patsy Boazman Britt; wife, Nancy Anderson Britt; son, Reginald Allen Britt (Julie); daughter, Amanda Britt Harris (Richard);  grandchildren; Reginald Allen Britt, Jr., Bayleigh Edberg, Mary Kathryn Harris, Brantley Edberg, and Brittain Kay Harris; siblings, Beth Britt Stewart (John) and Susie Britt Webster. Stepchildren include Joey Locklar, Rusty Locklar (Daphne), and Ronnie Gibes (Erica).

Serving as active pallbearers; John Robert Brabham, Bron Cureton, Kim Ellis, Rod Morgan, Joey Powell and Bob Wakefield; honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Moore, Jim Thompson, Joe Bob Brabham, Mark Goodson, Farrel Mercer, Graham Harvin, Charles Stokes, Bob Helms, Mark Kelly, Forrest Jones, Lamar Thornton, Tom Grimsley, Josh Carnley and Doug Dalrymple.
