Frank Lloyd Avery of Hartford, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Southeast Health. He was 59 years old.


He was born on July 14, 1965, in Hartford, Alabama. Frank lived his entire life in Hartford. He was a 1983 graduate of Geneva County High School. He attended both Enterprise and Wallace College. Frank was a kind soul, who enjoyed the outdoors, and farm life. And he was always dutiful to family.


He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Ralph Avery, Sr.;
brother, Jeffery James Avery; and nephew, William Peter Halstead.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Tom Chestnut officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.


Survivors include his mother, Gladys Frances Avery; siblings, Louis (Claudia) Avery, Roger (Leslie) Avery, Jr, Georgia (Mike) Deloney,
J Kenneth Avery, Carolyn Frances Avery (Gary) Fisher, Willard Windell Avery, Margie (Donald) Kilgore, George Lewis Avery, Mamie Gail (Joe) Halstead, Linda Karen Avery, Cathy Avery (Nadeem) Ouertani, Benjamin Wayne (Lurenda) Avery; many nephews, including: Benjamin Mcpherson, Zen Mcpherson, Paul Nene Nadeem, Aji Nadeem, James Avery; many nieces, including: Aziza Batook, Anastasia Mcpherson, Rebecca Nadeem, Rebecca Gail Halstead; along with many other family that he loved dearly.
