Frederick J. Leatham, Jr., age 75, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, peacefully at his home in Slocomb, Alabama.


"Fred" was a retired truck driver for Automatic Rolls/NorthEast Foods.  He was a member of Teamsters Local 170 and 493. Fred lived most of his life in the New England area, mainly Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.  His favorite greeting for those closest to him was "Mr." 


"Fred" leaves behind his wife Maribel Leatham and son Josiah Leatham of Slocomb, AL; four other sons Joseph P. Leatham of Marlborough, Vincent Leatham, Robert Leatham, Jeff Leatham, three daughters, Dawn Leatham, Kimberly, and Michelle, and numerous grandchildren all of the New England area.  He leaves behind his brother Robert Leatham of New Hampshire; sisters Ginger Moore of Florida, Louise Plouffe of Brimfield, sister Laura Whigham of West Brookfield, and sister Frances Jean Leatham. His other sisters and brothers preceded him in death.


Pittman Funeral Home, Geneva, AL is in charge of funeral arrangements.  "Fred" will be laid to rest in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield, MA beside his Father Frederick J. Leatham, Sr., his Mother Mildred E. Leatham, his Grandmother Laura May Love, and brother Richard.  A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
