FREDERICK WILKINSON PRITCHARD
DOTHAN. . .Frederick Wilkinson (Fred) Pritchard, a resident of The Terrace at Grove Park, Dothan, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at his home. He was 93.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 9, 2014, in the Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of the funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside services.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Gateway Baptist Church, 3300 Bell Road, Montgomery, AL 36116.
Mr. Pritchard was born and reared in Montgomery, son of the late Frederick Z. Pritchard and Irma Wilkinson Pritchard. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Pritchard lived in Montgomery most of his lifetime before moving to Dothan in 2004. He retired from the State of Alabama Department of Revenue, in the Income Tax Division. Mr. Pritchard was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Dothan and a former member of the Gateway Baptist Church in Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Hardy Pritchard.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Peggy Johnson (Don), Munford, AL; two sons, Fred Hardy Pritchard (Ealar), Dothan, and Dennis Pritchard (Mary Beth), Anniston, AL; and a granddaughter, Michel Johnson.
