 Mrs. Gail McCullough Rodgers of Samson, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 09, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 78.


 Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Danny Branch officiating. Burial will follow in Travelers Rest Cemetery in Samson, Alabama with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.


 Gail was born December 17, 1945 in Geneva County Alabama to the late William Mylum and Voncille Johnson McCullough. She worked for many years as an admissions clerk at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva. Anyone who knew her, knew of her love of growing and arranging flowers and working in her beautiful yards. Most of all, she will be fondly remembered for her love and dedication to her family and friends. Service to others and her willingness to help anyone in need, was her true legacy that she leaves behind.


 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard McCullough and two nephews, Ricky and Timmy McCullough.


 Gail is survived by her husband of 30 years, Roy Rodgers of Samson, AL; one daughter, Felicia Crews (Richard) of Samson, AL; two grandchildren, Christopher Crews (Amber) of Lynn Haven, FL and Emily Crews Holtum (Jacob) of Panama City, FL; four great grandchildren, Allie Crews, Colby Crews, Charlotte Holtum and Elena Holtum; step-son, Michael Alan Rodgers (Sharon) of Ennis, TX; one brother, Greg McCullough (Lou) of Samson, AL; two nieces, Bonni Mayo (Ken) and Sydney Frederick (Tanner) all of Samson, AL and a host of extended family and friends.


 Serving as pallbearers will be, Jacob Holtum, Randy Adams, Ken Mayo, Tanner Frederick, Chad Crews and Andy Crews.
