PINCKARD, ALABAMA. . .Gary Earl Thomas, a resident of Pinckard, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his home. He was 70.

Private family funeral services were held in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend George Bryan officiating.
Gary Earl Thomas was born in Connellsville, PA, son of the late Samuel Robert Thomas and Anna Lou Dowden Thomas. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. He lived in Vanderbilt, PA. before moving to Pinckard several years ago. Gary was formerly employed as a truck driver and also worked with Duquesne Steel Mill in Duquesne, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Leonard Thomas, two brothers, James Robert Thomas and Sam Thomas.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Molly Thomas, Vanderbilt, PA, and a son, Paul Thomas, Irwin, PA; a granddaughter, Isabella Kunkle.
