Burial will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will be accepting friends on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

George J.T. Tillman, Jr. a residence of Dothan, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was 84 years old.
Funeral services will be held at Sunset Memorial Home Chapel, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Brother Clarence Robinson officiating. George was born on December 20, 1934 in Barbour County to the late J.T. and Pauline Tillman. He was employed with Sara Lee Bread Company for 25 years. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 25, 1999. He was known for being a family man and fellowshipping with his brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
George is preceded in death by 4 of his siblings, LeRoy Tillman, Johnny Tillman, Jerry Tillman, and Annie Jewel Tillman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Millie Tillman; his 3 sons, John Tom Tillman, Johnny Roy (Mary) Tillman, and Bobby Tillman; his 3 daughters, Rachel (Clarence) Cameron, Joyce (Otis) McGriff, and Angie (Jeffrey) Culpepper; his 16 grandchildren, Ariel Tillman, Johnathan Morris, Tameka Tillman, Jessica Tillman, Johnny Tillman, Connie Tillman, Sailnea Tillman, Jeremy Wells, Willie (Amy) Tillman, LeJeorge (Vanna) Tillman, Otis McGriff Jr., Shaquille McGriff, Jocelyn McGriff, Kevin McGriff, Brianna Culpepper, and Elijah Bo Culpepper ;his 16 great grandchildren; his 3 siblings, Benny James Tillman, Willie Ruth Reynolds, and Jewelin Dunlap; 4 sisters-in-law, O’la Nell Williams, Francis Helms, Bertha Lomnick, and Gloria (Earnest) Faulk; one brother-in-law, Olin Brinkley Jr.; a special cousin, Ruby Lee Terry; and a host of extended family and friends.
