Mrs. Georgia Faye Jarvis Johnson of Westville, FL passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 77.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. from her residence at 5515 Hwy 181 E. Westville, FL (Darlington).

 Mrs. Faye was born on July 07, 1946 in Dothan, AL to the late William E. and Mildred Irene McCardle Jarvis. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a true southern lady who loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, who enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing and tending her beautiful flowers. Faye was most happy when she was surrounded by a large gathering of those she loved and cared for most. Being with her family, cooking and watching them enjoy her delicious food was like “medicine” for her soul. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her best and loved her deeply. She attended Oak Grove Baptist Church.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Jarvis and three sisters, Shirley Jarvis, Mary Barnhardt and Ethel May Fears.

 Mrs. Faye is survived by her husband of 55 years, Allen Johnson of Darlington, FL; children, Joyce Duchin (Ty) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Billy Wallace (Maria Fe) of Freeport, FL, Samantha Pesa (Mark) of Dothan, AL, Kailey Johnson of Darlington, FL; Special grandchildren, Alicia Williams (Dave) of Geneva, AL, Madison Pesa of Dothan, AL, Sebastian Wallace and Savanah Wallace, both of Freeport, FL; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; one brother, James Robert Fears (Carolyn) of Dothan, AL and one sister, Roberta Brooks of Mobile, AL.
