Gerald Adam Bacon (G), 40, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Enterprise, Ala.

Gerald was a loving son, husband, and father of five boys. His world revolved around his family, without him our ship is adrift. Though he greatly loved his family, his love extended beyond blood. His smile and laughter met you from afar. He was a practical joker and never met a stranger. Gerald’s love for life was infectious. He gave all he had to help others.
Gerald served in the U.S. Army as a Tanker, stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia and fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After serving in the Army, Gerald worked in all facets of building construction before starting his own home improvement business.
Gerald was born on June 15, 1979 at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Beth Bacon of Enterprise, Ala; his sons, Preston Bacon-Rimby of Birdsboro, Pa., Sean Kaleb Whiting (Kaleigh) of Fort Gordon, Ga., Bryce Hudson Chang of Enterprise, Ala., Tristan Merritt Bacon of Enterprise, Ala., and Sawyer Jamason Chang of Enterprise, Ala.; his father Bruce Bacon (Vicki) of Millbrook, Ala., his mother Connie Roby (Larry) of Redding, Pa.; his brother Jason Bacon of Jacksonville, Fla., his sister Teresa Green (Avrey) of Millbrook, Ala.; his nieces and nephew, Desia, Nicholas, Ashton, and Alex; his father-in-law Jason Evans (Lynn) of Enterprise, Ala., and his sisters-in-law, Jenny Fine of Enterprise, Ala. and Lauren Fine of Birmingham, Ala.
