Gerald John Bonner, 81, a resident of Hartford, AL passed away Sunday, July 19th at his home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 22nd at Hartford Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery.
Gerald was born November 5, 1933 in Slocomb, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Ethel Bonner; two sisters, Maudeline Eubanks & Mattie Sorrells and a brother Leon Bonner, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Penelope (Penny) Bonner, a son Derek M. Bonner, daughter-in-law Jessica L. Bonner, three grandchildren Gage (14), Cory (12) and Charli (8) who reside in Fairhope, AL.
