Date of Service Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 11, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Skipper, Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. James B. Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the mission or charity of your choice.

Gladys Skipper, a resident of Dothan, AL and a former resident of Newton, AL died on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Gladys was born on February 3, 1927 in Dale County, AL and lived in Newton, AL until later years and then lived in Dothan. She has been a member of First Assembly of God Church in Newton since she was 16 years old.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Clifton and Eva Davenport Skipper, her brother, Huey Skipper, her sisters, Hilda Skipper Ash and Christine Wood, her sister-in-law, Mavis Skipper and Annette Skipper.
Survivors include her brother, Larry Skipper of Dothan; dozens of nieces and nephews, whom she loved and cherished; and dozens of cousins, also loved and cherished.
