Glenda Anne Hicks Clark, a resident of Louisville, Alabama passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. She was 78 years old.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Louisville Baptist Church in Louisville, Alabama with Rev. Mike Whitman and Rev. Rick Hayes officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the Louisville Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to Louisville Baptist Church Organ Fund- PO Box 115 Louisville, Alabama 36048 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital- 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Anne was born January 19, 1946, in Louisville, Alabama to the late Needham R. and Berta Lee Spivey Hicks. She loved children, especially her grandbabies and she enjoyed going to all their activities. Anne loved the beach and visiting her friends when she was able. She worked at Dixie Academy, Troy University, Louisville High School, and was a legal assistant for the courthouses in Eufaula and Clayton. Anne was a member of Louisville Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 56 years, Billy Wayne Clark; three daughters, Angela Ogleclark (Tony) of Troy, Alabama, Allison Davis (Brandon) of Troy, Alabama, and Abbey Drew (David) of Brundidge, Alabama; six grandchildren, Jordan LeeAnne Ogleclark, Logan Wayne Ogleclark, Trey Drivas, Ashlan Reese Drivas, Walker Bradley Davis, and Evie Grace Drew.
Asked to serve as pallbearers are Wayne Stell, Scott Little, Heath Clark, Rustin Clark, Jay Clark, Christopher Ryals, Jonathan Clark, and Art Sammons.
