Glenda Eddings Lee, 84 of Enterprise, AL died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Seagrass Village in Panama City Beach, Florida. 


A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Chaplain COL (RET) Sonny Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Enterprise YMCA, PO Box 310700, Enterprise, AL  36331. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Harrison, Jackson and Huck Lee, and Bodie Blissitte and grand-nephews, Cade Stinnett and Connor Bradley.         


Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late William O. and Gladys Eddings of Columbus, Georgia.


She was a graduate of Troy State University and a resident of Enterprise for almost 60 years. In her early years in Enterprise, she was an English instructor at Enterprise High School and Enterprise State Junior College.  In 1974, she became the owner of Lee’s Style Shop in downtown Enterprise and operated the ladies clothing store until her retirement in1998.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Enterprise and of various community and social clubs.


Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Eddings and his wife Barbara, Titusville, FL. 


Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Talmadge Eudell “Bo” Lee; two sons, Del Lee (Suann), Lynn Haven, FL and David Lee, Collierville, TN; a daughter, Susannah Blissitte (Brett), Hope Hull, AL. In addition to the four grandsons listed above, she was grandmother to three beloved granddaughters, Isabella and Madeline Lee and Anna Kate Blissitte.  She was also treasured by nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
