Glenda Sue Conner Walker, 59, passed away August 18, 2012, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be held at Ward Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, August 20, 2012, at 3 P.M. with Reverend Stacey Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Monday, August 20, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Walker was born on June 30, 1953, in Clio, Alabama. Mrs. Walker was a loving mother, grandmother, she was very friendly with everyone, and she loved her family members very much.

 

She was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar James Conner and Elizabeth Faircloth Conner, husband Charles Walker, three brothers and two sisters.

 

Survivors include daughter Schlinda Walker of Dothan, son Charles D. Walker, Jr. and wife Cathaleen of Dothan; sisters, Hazel Stokes and husband A.J. of Phenix City, Al., Dorothy Bush and husband John of Bonifay, Fl., and Ruth Faircloth of Panama City, Fl.; brothers Charlie Conner of Slocomb Al., and Rayburn Conner of Thomasville, GA.; grandchildren Breanna Walker, Charles Walker, Larry Lavon Underwood, and Charles D. Walker III and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
