Gloria Jean Smith Garrett, 71, a resident of Elba and formerly of Dothan, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Elba Nursing and Rehab.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Sardis Baptist Church in Abbeville, AL with Brother George Bryan officiating.

Gloria was born March 7, 1946 in California and has been a resident of the Wiregrass area most of her life. She was a retired elementary school teacher with Dothan City Schools. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger O. Smith and Glen Garrett.

Survivors include her sons, Ryan L. Smith and Adam C. Smith; a sister, Patricia Beauchamp.
