MIDLAND CITY. . .Gloria Jean Outlaw Yeomans, a resident of Midland City, died Saturday night, November 19, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. She was 77.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23,2016, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Dr. David Coggins officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3054 McGhee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111.


            Mrs. Yeomans was born and reared in the Chalkhead community, near Ozark, daughter of the late Arnice Perry Outlaw and Johnnie Pearl Woodham Outlaw. She lived in Midland City most of her lifetime where she was a member of the Midland City Baptist Church. Mrs. Yeomans retired as a school bus driver from the Dale County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Yeomans.


            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Tina Yeomans, Opelika; two sons, Rusty Yeomans, Midland City; and Reggie Yeomans (Brandie), Ariton; a granddaughter, Jordan Yeomans; a sister, Sue Ward, Ozark; two brothers, Randy Outlaw (Gayle), and Jeff Outlaw (Jackie), all of Ozark.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Andy Ward, Nate Ward, Drew Culp, Morgan Culp, Perry Outlaw, Tyler Outlaw, Lynn Yeomans and Scotty Yeomans.
