Mrs. Grace Willene Mims Boyd of Geneva, Al passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She was 77.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL. Burial will follow in Poplar Head Community Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.

 Mrs. Boyd was born June 06, 1947 in Holmes Co., FL to the late Frances Dan and Lecie Lorraine Myers Mims. She loved to read the Bible and have prayer meetings with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed working puzzles, word searches, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She faithfully attended Mims Hill Church as long as her health permitted.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings.

 Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary Lynn Boyd, Sr. of Geneva, AL; son, Gary Lynn Boyd, Jr. (Misty) of Cottondale, FL, two daughters, Sylvia Loronna Boyd of Hartford, AL and Krystal Diane Boyd White (Christopher) of Chipley, FL; 10 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one brother, R.V. Mims (Mary) of Clearwater, FL; two sisters, Bammer Thomas of Westville, FL, Daliah Clark of Pensacola, FL and a number of special nieces and nephews.
