GREGORY D. DRESCHER, SR.
DOTHAN, AL.…Gregory D. Drescher, Sr., a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away Saturday morning, September 19, 2020, at his home. He was 66.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with Chaplain Tim Mayhall and Brother Gordon Carnes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. before the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Drescher was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Donald Fredrick Drescher and Vivian Faye Thompson Drescher. Greg was a carpenter and was known for his remodeling construction. He was a very loving father and the world’s best “PaPa”. He was a member of the Chaotic Few MC of Dothan, Alabama.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Michelle Drescher; his brother, Joe Drescher; his sister, Susan Lynn Deloach; and his nephew, Joey Drescher.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Lisa Michelle Drescher (Jacob Goodson) of Dothan, AL; his son, Gregory D. Drescher, Jr. (Natalie Mills) of Dothan, AL; his sister, Sally Jean Drescher of Headland, AL; his grandson, Louis Gregory Drescher; his nephew, Christopher Prather (Heather Arnoni); his nieces, Vivian Drescher, and Debbie Deloach Lingo; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Corey Arnold, Adaleigh Hart, and PJ Lingo.
The family wanted to express a sincere “Thank You”, to DaySpring Hospice and Shelley Lunsford, for their kindness and compassionate caring through this time.
