HARRIET ANN CALLOWAY BRYSON
HEADLAND, AL… Harriet Ann Calloway Bryson, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, July 2, 2023, at her home. She was 75.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Mrs. Bryson was born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Elisha Belva Calloway and Carrie Nadine Shaver Calloway. She worked as a cosmetologist most of her life, but was also an insurance underwriter and a school bus driver. Before moving to Headland, Alabama over thirty-nine years ago, she had lived in Eufaula, Alabama and Montgomery, Alabama. She was an avid Alabama Football fan and collected any and all Alabama football memorabilia. She loved her family so much and was the glue that kept them together. She was known by many and raised a lot of children, whether they were hers or not. She will be deeply missed.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Thompson and a grandson, Jimbo Bryson.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, James Durward Bryson; her daughter, Candace Faith Bryson; her son, Darrell Bryson (Sherry); her son-in-law, her grandchildren, Kirsti Price (John) and Travis Thompson (Katherine); and her great-grandchildren, Emily Price, Aubrey Price, and Kyleigh Thompson.
