Harvey Carroll, of Abbeville, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018.  He was 85.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joey McCreight officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Harvey was born May 9, 1933, in Enterprise, AL. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Carroll and Ruby Durden Carroll; his wife of 63 years, Jaqueline Carroll and two infant sons.

Survivors include two daughters:  Sherrill Carroll Parr (Eddie) of Hartford, AL and Jerry Anita Carroll Motley (Lonnie) of Enterprise, AL; sister, Deroethea Sapp of Enterprise, AL; four grandchildren:  Daniel Motley, Joe Newsome (Jennifer), Jennifer Blackmon (Norman) and Chad Newsome (Kim); nine great-grandchildren:  Mindy, Makenzie, Hannah, Tristan, Savanna, Whitney, Emily, Joshua and Tiffany; five great-great-grandchildren:  Aubrey, Aleigh, Levi, Bentley and Lillie
