Haywood R. Norwood of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on March 2, 2023 at his home he was 75 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Meadowlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Eddins officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Haywood was born in Enterprise, AL on April 29, 1947 to the late David Randolph and Vonciel Kelley Norwood. Mr. Norwood enjoyed going to church, spending time with his family, working in his garden, and serving the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Talbot Norwood; and brother-in-law, Tom Leger.  

He is survived his wife Juanita Leger Norwood of Coffee Springs, AL; son, David L. Norwood (Shea) of Headland, AL; three grandchildren, Houlton, Hinson, and Jorja Norwood all of Headland; three siblings, Huey Norwood (Rachel) of Enterprise, AL, Janice Cain (Harold) of Millbrook, AL, and Marlon Norwood (Dianne) of Enterprise, AL; brothers-in-law, Earl Leger (Vonnie), and Bill Leger (Martha); sisters-in-law, Jeanette Leger, Mary Leger, Audry Leger, and Gladys Leger; and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
