Mrs. Helen C. Wren Tabor of County Road 21, Geneva, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015.  She was 90.


Memorialization will be by cremation with a private service for the family.


Mrs. Tabor was born February 28, 1925, in Shenandoah, Iowa to the late Hobart Francis and Mary Alice Black Wren.  During her working career she was employed with civil service in naval supply as an administrative secretary.  She was a member of Fairway Park Baptist Church in Hayward, California.  She loved her family and enjoyed keeping up with them and her friends on Facebook.  Mrs. Tabor was a very loving and devoted, wife, mother and grandmother.


In addition to her parents, a son, John Wren Tabor and one granddaughter, Lori Rose Blondefield preceded her in death.


Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Charles R. Tabor; one daughter, Carolyn Blondefield and husband Gordon all of Geneva; one sister, Edna Fletcher; three grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.



Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva is in charge of arrangements.
