Helen R. Smoak, of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 am Friday, April 13, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Griggs and Jason Steege officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association, P.O. Box 2888, Huntsville, AL, 35804.

Survivors include her husband Dennis Smoak of Dothan; a son John Welch of Philadelphia, MS; a step-son Jason (Laura) Smoak of Dothan; a daughter Julie (Gerald) Andrews of Dothan; 4 grandchildren, Bryce Welch, Paige Smoak, Nathan Andrews, and Rylie Andrews; sisters, Esther Ivey of Brundidge, AL and Mary Galloway of Brundidge, AL.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Brady, Alan Brady, Keith Hatfield, Charles Watson, Jason Harris, and Norman Whiddon.
