Helen Speigner Wright of Geneva, AL passed away on June 29, 2024, in her home of 65 years. She was 92 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Geneva with Reverend Dr. Edwin Scott and Rev. Steve Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Helen was born in Caps, AL on March 13, 1932, to the late Alvie Lee and Effie Gladys Hancock Speigner. Mrs. Wright worked many years as bookkeeper at Geneva Auto Parts, Co., the family business. She was a life long active member of First Baptist Church of Geneva. She was also an avid reader who had quite a collection of books.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Lamar Wright; one son, George Wright; and two sisters.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughter, Ritchie Blackwood (Jay) of Ponce De Leon, FL; two sons, Tracy Wright (Harmony) of Boise, ID, and Nick Wright (Amanda) of Hartford, AL; three granddaughters, Kellie, Mollie and DeLaney; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
