Henry Clayton Floyd, Jr., a resident of Westside Terrace in Dothan, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Flowers Hospital. He was 80 years old.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1461 Timbers Dr., Dothan, AL 36301.

Mr. Floyd was born February 9, 1938 in Early County, GA and spent the early part of his life there. He was a graduate of Damascus High School. He was employed as an automotive mechanic for many years and retired from Walter Hand Ford in Ozark, AL. Most recently he was a resident of Hutto Towers in Dothan, where he had many friends throughout the residents there.

Survivors include his siblings, Carl Floyd, Robert Floyd, Jimmy Floyd, Sue Canady, Brenda Slater, and Dean Crawford; 4 children; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
