Henry D. "Pawpaw" Williamson passed away Tuesday, July 23rd shortly after lunch, at the age of 81. He was born in Slocomb, Al on Oct 6, 1942, in his family home to Charlie Williamson and Margret Miles. He was born 4th of 15.

Along with his parents, Henny D. was preceded in death by 12 siblings; 2 sons, Raymond Scates and Henry D. Williamson, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at New Teamon Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Chorn officiating. Burial will follow in New Teamon Church Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

He is survived by his children, Mark, Roy, James, Annie, Tony, Hethel, and Bobby; 1 sister, Rannie Mae and 2 brothers, Jimmy Lee and Jonnie Webb. He left behind 27 grandkids and 17 great grandchildren, plus 2 being born this fall, along with several nieces and nephews.
