Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Corley officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Henry Wayne White, a resident of Midland City, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at his residence. He was 57.
Wayne was born on August 5, 1965 in Houston County and lived his early years in Midland City. He was a 1985 graduate of Dale County High School. After high school, he attended Sparks College in Eufaula where he obtained his certification as a diesel mechanic. Wayne was employed as a truckdriver with Southeastern Freight Lines, but his real passion was row crop farming. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching his son drag race throughout the Wiregrass area. Wayne attended Mt. Pleasant Church.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie White.
Survivors include his wife, Tanya White; his children, Brandon (Chloe) White and Chastity (Joseph) White Turner; his father, Norman L. White; his brother, Randy (Kevin) White; his sister, Marie Whiddon; and several nieces and nephews.
