Howard Woodham

Howard Earl Woodham, 77, was born March 3, 1945 in Webb, Alabama. He was the son of the late Harold Woodham and Flora Mae Newsome Woodham. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. 

The funeral service will be held at Selma Baptist on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2:00pm with Dewayne Efurd officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.

Mr. Woodham attended Webb, Wicksburg, and then completed his GED. He served in the Army 1964-1970 and exited as Specialist Five. He then began his career at Sunnyland where he eventually retired. 

Howard is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn Ann Woodham; his oldest daughter Candace Edmondson (Jon); his middle daughter Melanie McLain (Wesley); his youngest son Mark Woodham (Kayla); and a special family friend Heather Howard. He has five granddaughters: Christina, Sydney, Harper, Hadley, and Hollyn; one great granddaughter: Elizabeth; and another great granddaughter on the way: Savannah. His legacy of love has poured in to many generations and will continue for years to come.

Pallbearers will be: Jon Edmondson, Wesley McLain, Will Spicer, Jacob Lee, Joshua Martin, Blake Allsup, and Micah Beard.
