Imogean Bagwell, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away peacefully at her residence on February 26, 2024, at the age of 87.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday, March 1, 2024, in the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chuck Locke officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted.

Imogean's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and dedication to her community. She was a long-standing member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, where she lovingly served as a florist and, alongside her husband, devotedly looked after children between the ages of 3 and 4 for an impressive 45 years. Her nurturing spirit touched many lives within her church family. Her passion for beauty was reflected in her collection of exquisite porcelain dolls, a hobby that brought her much joy and showcased her appreciation for fine craftsmanship.

Imogean was predeceased by her parents Raymond Kelly and Mildred Lewis Kelly. her husband of 5o plus years Kenneth Bagwell. a son, Ned Bagwell. brothers, Mickey Kelly, Jerry Kelly, and Bill Kelly.

Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Cynthia White (Gary), her sons, Curtis Bagwell, Donald, and Ronald Powell, her sisters, Glenda Kelly and Judy Milner (Malcom), her grandson, Stephen Fischer, and her grandchildren, Jade and Logan Bagwell. Imogean also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Imogean Bagwell will be remembered as a faith-filled woman whose kindness and care for others left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
